We at Setiba Aesthetics Group are proud to announce that we already offer the first and only FDA-approved treatment for submental fullness, Kybella. Submental fullness, otherwise known as double chin occurs due to a variety of reasons. Some of them are aging and increase of weight. However, some may also point to genetics as the cause of getting a double chin.
The appearance of the double chin is not that flattering since it can make one look older and “heavier” than their actual age and weight. And what is even more frustrating is the fact that for some individuals, the double chin is just impossible to remove despite dieting and rigorous exercise.
Fortunately, you can now get a Kybella treatment in order refine the contour of your double chin.
What is Kybella?
Kybella is an effective non-surgical treatment that you can get from the Setiba Aesthetics Group in order to refine and improve the appearance of your double chin. It is an injectable which can be administered in-office. The entire procedure just lasts fifteen to twenty minutes.
What makes it so effective is the fact that it the active component of the Kybella injection is made up of deoxycholic acid. This is a natural component which can be found in the body that can destroy fat cells, in this case, in the area of your double chin. This injectable treatment is already customized in order to help you reach your desired appearance and aesthetic goal.
How often do I need to get the Treatment done?
What’s amazing about the Kybella treatment is the fact that for most of our patients, the procedure only needs to be done once or twice, and this is for those who have moderate to severe sub-mental fullness already. However, as the need of our patients vary, treatments can be up to six times administered a month or more apart.
Each treatment will be administered by one of our board-certified doctors in the Setiba Aesthetics Group in order to ensure the wanted result of our patients as well as their safety.
Results may already be visible within the month after the first injection, however, as what we have already shared above, some patients require more than one procedure in order to get the required outcome.
Is the Treatment Painful?
The patient will be advised to take over-the-counter pain medication an hour before the scheduled treatment. A topical anesthesia will also be applied thirty minutes before the treatment itself. Local anesthetic is also included in the injectable. All these procedures are done in order to lessen the pain and discomfort that the patient might experience in relation with the treatment.
How can I get the Kybella Treatment?
A consultation is required beforehand in order to ensure that we meet the desired goals and needs of each of our patients, as well as to answer any question or concern related to the treatment. You may book for a free consultation through our website, or you may also walk-in during our office hours.
